For those having problems with their tags that have slashes being removed, just go the Manage Tags page and rename your tags.  I changed my slashes to dashes, and they are all working fine now.

I heard that LJ is trying to fix this issue because the change had unintended consequences. *shrugs* I think I'll wait a bit and see...
