Dear Livejournal,

Thank you for screwing with my journal.  Again.  After continuously opting out of all your recent changes, you have now forced me to have this journal and use your unnecessary changes.  One that I don't like.  One that I have paid for.  You continue to disappoint me over and over again.  I'm seriously thinking about actually leaving.

EDIT:  At least they allowed the option to switch back.
EDIT 2:  It takes you too far back. So now I'm stuck with screwed up and screwed up. Thanks again, LJ.

I haven't even mastered the first version that I signed up and got, I am so lost and confused and now they change it all round on me, oh no. I may never get this mastered. LOL.

When I signed up in 2007, LJ was so simple and easy to use. Over the past couple years, they've been making more and more changes. And for those who have been around long enough to know what it looked like before, it sucks.

Today, they've changed the navigation bar (you can read about it here (http://news.livejournal.com/)), which isn't too bad, but it screwed up my whole page. It shrunk some things, made other things wider. It doesn't seem much different, just moved some things around and made it bigger.

It also brought me to the new friends page (which I hate) and had to switch back (and that's getting harder). That happens every single time they make an update/release.

They sent me a questionnaire about my experiences with livejournal, and I wasn't very nice on it. I wish they would just leave well enough alone. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

I can understand that. RL has been crazy for you!

They've changed the navigation bar, moved some things around, made other things bigger. It messed with my whole journal layout. I'm playing with the settings to get it looking normal. It also switched me back to the new friends page (which I hate) and made it more complicated to switch back to the old one (digging through settings).

I haven't noticed anything particular out of the ordinary, but I am aware that all social media platforms (LJ, Facebook, etc.) all seem to think change is good without actually asking the users what they think.

I don't know if it was a glitch or something, but most of my journal seems to be back to what it was before they made the changes yesterday. And yes, they certainly do that all the time! (I noticed FB changed their buttons and had slight tweaks to format yesterday too)
