EDIT:  Jared has previously stated that he'd like to wait to have children til after SPN so he could devote more time to his family...I guess this means no season 8 of SPN, if it's offered.  Bummer but understandable.

we had the same though process. As soon as i heard i was like, oh no, no season 8 :( W/O the show no more cons and cute boys, i'm sad.

I'm gonna miss them, that's for sure. I can completely understand Jared (and even Jensen, when it happens) wanting to spend time with is family, especially with a newborn. I certainly won't fault him for that. It's been a good, long run for the show; it certainly went longer than I thought.

I honestly think it's just a matter of time. They'll be offered the chance for season 8, and they won't accept...that's my opinion.
