Wheeee!! Just heard about this myself. :) I think it's awesome they've signed on for 2 more seasons. I guess we should just hope the ratings will deliver, at least enough for the CW president (though he seems pretty stoked about the show anyway).
Only concern I have is if they end up with burnout/running out of good ideas. That was the thing that bothered me about Stargate SG-1. They ran for 10 seasons and IMHO they should have hung it up after season 8. They tried to rebrand it as a different show with new characters and quite a few people got ticked off at how different it became. I'm really hoping SPN will avoid this. I'm optimistic, though. :)
