checking in, again

This is the weirdest hurricane/tropical storm ever. We were supposed to get hit yesterday afternoon, and then yesterday evening, and then last night, and then this morning, and then this afternoon, and now tonight (it does seem like we're getting a good chunk of it right now, though). WTF? This is the slowest freaking storm I have ever seen!  No one can really make any decisions about tomorrow because we don't know what the hell Isaac is gonna do.  GRRRRRR!

The one that came through here last year was the same way. Irene was this little itty bitty category 1 that dropped to a Tropical Storm fairly quickly but it would not move. It just sat over us and poured rain and howled and screamed. I've been through a lot of hurricanes and some of them category 3 and 4's but I've never heard one scream like this one did it was freaky.

Stay safe. *hugs*

I would start driving somewhere safe soon. Seriously, if it's that slow-moving, that could cause more issues than a higher grade storm.

My fingers are still crossed!

IKR? It was supposed to hit us but swerved away and than they kept saying it'd be a hurricane 2 by New Orleans and it keeps changing from a hurricane to tropical storm. It's like it can't make up its mind!

Eep! I hope the fact that it's slow-moving doesn't mean it's gaining strength. Again thoughts and prayers for you all! *hugs*
