The journal of a random thinker...

Thank you to lostandalone22 and anonymous for the cute little gingerbread man!  

An issue was just brought to my attention, and to try to ensure that it doesn't happen again, I wanted to get some input from you. 

With the deadline looming over us where ISPs will be monitoring everything with a fine-toothed comb, many are trying to convert their favorite fics into PDFs or search for someone who will convert the stories for them.  There are some authors out there who may not what their fics converted and/or shared with anyone for whatever reason.  And I completely respect that.  It's their story; they have every right to decide whether or not to share their story. 

With that said, are there any authors out there who DO NOT want their stories turned into a PDF and/or shared?  I'm asking this because I'd really like to respect an author's wishes and not unknowingly convert or ask for a fic. 

EDIT:  It's been pointed out that the ISP thing will just cover images, movies, and music. 

Either way, I think it's still necessary to find out which authors do not want their stories converted and/or shared.  If you're an author who doesn't want their work shared or know of an author, please let me know.  Also, spnstoryfinders has a pretty decent list of deleted users/frequently asked for, some of which do not want their work converted/shared.  You can find that list here.

Made it home from New Orleans about 2 hours ago.  Partially unpacked...no need to completely unpack since I'm leaving again Tuesday.  Had a great, fun-filled, random weekend!  Yes, random...because that's all you run into/find in New Orleans...random places, random things, random people! 

I got my new tattoo Thursday (pics to come later), too!

These past two weeks have been crazy, hectic for me, so I was unable to post these until now.  I've got a couple other things that I still need to do (muni's list for wincest_daily ) before this weekend, but after that, it looks like I'll have my life back. 

I'm going see X-Men Origins:  Wolverine Friday night (already purchased my tickets).  Saturday, I have my siblings and other family coming in from Texas for my little nephew's first communion, so I won't be around much this weekend. 

Now, I'm off to eat lunch and then back to work.  Have a great day!
