First off, I hate it when you hit backspace and LJ decides you want to go back a couple pages instead of deleting a couple letters you've typed.

Second attempt:

DAMNIT!!  I hate hurricane season.  This is why I don't look forward to my birthday each year.  September is, statistically, the busiest month in hurricane season (yes, I'm aware there are still a couple days left in August).  It's still a bad time of year, though.  And Wednesday makes the 7th anniversary of Katrina.  New Orleans still has completely recovered (personally, I don't think it ever will).

TS Isaac has turned toward LA and MS (predicted landfall: Wed. morning).  This morning, it was supposed to hit along the MS/AL line, but now it's the LA/MS line.  Granted, if it stays on it's predicted path, MS will get the worst of it, and we'll end up with a lot of rain and high winds. As long as we stay on the left side of it, we'll be okay.

I'll be keeping everyone in the projected path in my thoughts.  Stay safe!

EDIT:  Governor's Press Conference stated that if it turns more west and hits LA, TS Isaac will hit Tues evening/early Wed monring.  We are official under a state of emergency.   :(
