First off, I hate it when you hit backspace and LJ decides you want to go back a couple pages instead of deleting a couple letters you've typed.

Second attempt:

DAMNIT!!  I hate hurricane season.  This is why I don't look forward to my birthday each year.  September is, statistically, the busiest month in hurricane season (yes, I'm aware there are still a couple days left in August).  It's still a bad time of year, though.  And Wednesday makes the 7th anniversary of Katrina.  New Orleans still has completely recovered (personally, I don't think it ever will).

TS Isaac has turned toward LA and MS (predicted landfall: Wed. morning).  This morning, it was supposed to hit along the MS/AL line, but now it's the LA/MS line.  Granted, if it stays on it's predicted path, MS will get the worst of it, and we'll end up with a lot of rain and high winds. As long as we stay on the left side of it, we'll be okay.

I'll be keeping everyone in the projected path in my thoughts.  Stay safe!

EDIT:  Governor's Press Conference stated that if it turns more west and hits LA, TS Isaac will hit Tues evening/early Wed monring.  We are official under a state of emergency.   :(

OMG, I hate that too! Usually LJ does that backup thing for me, but there have been times when it didn't and I had to type a huge post all over again!

I know what you mean. I guess we don't usually get it as bad up here in southern NY, but we've had some pretty bad ones, like Irene last year. I really hope you guys don't get the worst of Isaac. I'll be keeping you all in my thoughts!

Fortunately, Florida has been lucky thus far. Miami an Key West are getting hit the hardest and Issac veered over to where we aren't even in the cone anymore. We haven't had a drastic storm for a good 10 years now or even more, Andrew and the No Name Storm that blazed through were the worst, I just can't help feeling we're due for one soon. It gives me chills. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and everyone in New Orleans. Katrina could have easily hit us instead.
